EDMONTON, AB - The Edmonton Oilers have loaned defenceman Philip Broberg and recalled forward Devin Shore from the Bakersfield Condors.
Broberg returns to Bakersfield where the 21-year-old Swedish blueliner recorded four goals and 19 assists in 31 games with a +14 plus/minus rating during the 2021-22 AHL season. In four pre-season appearances, Broberg recorded two assists.
Shore is recalled to Edmonton ahead of Wednesday's season opener against Vancouver after being placed on and subsequently clearing waivers on Monday ahead of the NHL's 3:00pm MT deadline for teams to submit their opening day rosters.
The Oilers 21-player roster is now comprised of 13 forwards, six defencemen and two goalies.
