EDMONTON, AB - The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF) announced today the launch of the Canadian-favourite Chase The Ace raffle in Alberta in support of the Foundation's mandate to support charities across Oil Country and help build strong, vibrant and safe communities.

"Whether it's supporting our most vulnerable community members, creating opportunities for all kids to play hockey, or supporting other causes throughout Alberta such as the recent wildfires, the need across Oil Country is year-round, 365 days per year," said Myrna Khan, EOCF Executive Director. "The EOCF is excited to introduce a fun new game for Albertans to play during the summer months for those who are missing the massive jackpots of the Oilers 50/50."

The Chase The Ace raffle will include weekly prizes and a main progressive jackpot which can be won by picking the Ace of Spades. Each week, one winner is drawn. If the card the winner selected is the Ace of Spades, they win the weekly prize and the progressive Chase The Ace jackpot.

If the card they selected is not the Ace of Spades, they win the weekly prize and that card is removed from the selection the following week, and 30% of weekly sales go to the progressive jackpot. Each week a card is picked, the odds of picking the Ace of Spades increase.

Starting on June 1, anyone currently in Alberta can purchase tickets and take their chance at picking the Ace of Spades at Video: COMMUNITY | Chase The Ace. The weekly draws will take place every Thursday at noon starting June 8 and the progressive jackpot will grow until one lucky player finds the Ace of Spades, at which point the jackpot will reset for a new raffle.

This raffle also includes a special offer. When customers purchase $50 or more in Chase The Ace tickets, they will receive $25 for the Canadian Brewhouse.
