EDMONTON, AB - The Edmonton Oilers play the Winnipeg Jets in a home-and-home, back-to-back set this Friday and Saturday beginning tonight at Rogers Place in the final game of a three-game homestand.
The Oilers acquired centre Nick Bjugstad from the Arizona Coyotes on Tuesday afternoon, but the 30-year-old isn't expected to be in the lineup to make his debut in Blue & Orange on Friday night and play in his 600th NHL game as he travels to Edmonton to join his new team in advance of the start of the club's four-game road trip on Saturday.
Winger Kailer Yamamoto took reps at the morning skate on the second line with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Leon Draisaitl before confirming in his pre-game media availability that he's good to go for tonight's game.
