EDMONTON, AB - The Edmonton Oilers held an optional skate at Rogers Place on Thursday before heading out for a one-game trip to face the Seattle Kraken.
Defenceman Darnell Nurse and centre Devin Shore were on the ice skating and Head Coach Dave Tippett assessed their progress after the session. "They're not players tomorrow (Friday) but we'll see where it gets when we practice on Saturday," he said.
Other players at the skate included Philip Broberg, Brendan Perlini, Kyle Turris, Derek Ryan, Tyler Benson, Ryan McLeod, William Lagesson and Markus Niemelainen. Mikko Koskinen and Stuart Skinner were in goal for the pre-flight session.
