Oil Country was beginning to get worried after the Oilers had been on a three-game losing skid, dropping games to the New York Islanders, Pittsburgh Penguins and Montreal Canadiens.
But in a trio of contests since - matches against the Dallas Stars, Boston Bruins and Vancouver Canucks - the Oilers have been able to change their luck by putting up three big consecutive wins while outscoring their opponents 16-5.

"We feel very confident," said forward Benoit Pouliot, who's scored two goals in his last three games. "We feel like our game has gotten better in the past three games for sure."
From the top unit to the fourth line, the team is contributing collectively.
"It's positive on everyone," said Pouliot. "Everyone's been doing it every night and sometimes it's going to happen, you're going to lose two or three games and maybe the panic sets in but for us we just got to stay calm and get back to work."
The Oilers will end their eight-game home stand on Monday against the Los Angeles Kings.
