The Oilers practiced back at the Prudential Center in New Jersey after downing the Devils 4-3 in the shootout last night

NEWARK, NJ - The Oilers are a perfect 2-0-0 on their road trip and 4-0-0 on the season after coming from behind in the final period of last night's contest to defeat the New Jersey Devils 4-3 in the shootout.

A matinee contest with the New York Rangers on Saturday at Madison Square Garden following today's practice back at the Prudential Center in Newark awaits the Oilers - their third game of this four-game road trip that ends on Monday in Chicago against the Blackhawks.

Leon Draisaitl, who scored the team's opening goal against the Devils and the shootout winner, was the lone player absent from Friday's practice.

Preliminary line rushes indicated the forward trios against the Rangers could be:

Draisaitl - McDavid - Kassian
Jurco - Nugent-Hopkins - Neal
Khaira - Sheahan - Archibald
Granlund - Haas - Chiasson
