EDMONTON, AB - Even without his skates on, Connor McDavid knows how to get a Rogers Place crowd on its feet.
The Edmonton Oilers captain was on stage at the 52nd annual JUNO Awards being hosted at Rogers Place on Monday night to present Hanna, Alberta rock legends Nickelback with their induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
Following an introduction from Canadian actor and Wrexham AFC co-owner Ryan Reynolds, McDavid was greeted to heavy applause before the "MVP! MVP! MVP!" chants rained down on the world's greatest player that's certain to pick up some of his own accolades at the end of this NHL season, having already amassed 55 goals and 127 points in 67 games for the Oilers.
