In order for the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF) to meet their license requirements, the Foundation had to cut 50/50 sales early during tonight's game to ensure all tickets could print and the draw could be made during the game.
As per normal operating procedure, the draw was made during the third intermission and the record-prize amount of $336,995 was claimed.
Tonight's 50/50 beneficiaries were Ronald McDonald House Northern Alberta and the EOCF.
The Oilers Foundation would like to thank fans for their continued support and generosity.
