Neal, who signed a five-year, $28.75 million contract with Calgary on July 2, was selected by Vegas in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft. The forward had 44 points (25 goals, 19 assists) with the Golden Knights last season, and 11 points (six goals, five assists) to help Vegas reach the Stanley Cup Final where it lost to the Washington Capitals in five games.
