Status report
The Blues called up Brown, a forward who has been out of their lineup since Nov. 9 with an upper-body injury, on Sunday from a conditioning assignment in Springfield of the American Hockey League, but a flight delay prevented him from making the morning skate Monday. He is expected to join the team in Vancouver during the day but not play. ... Pettersson, a center who leads the Canucks in scoring, will miss a second straight game, but Boeser is expected to return after missing two games with an illness. ... Silovs was called up from Abbotsford of the AHL on an emergency basis in place of goalie Collin Delia, whose wife gave birth to their second child Monday. ... Vancouver defenseman Travis Dermott, who hasn't played since sustaining a concussion in the preseason, was sent to Abbotsford on a long-term injury conditioning loan.
