Four different Ducks score to push past Kraken

ANAHEIM --Anthony Stolarz extended his winning streak to six games when he made 19 saves for the Anaheim Ducks in a 4-1 victory against the Seattle Kraken at Honda Center on Wednesday.

Stolarz, who started back-to-back games for the first time this season because of a lower-body injury to John Gibson, has a .948 save percentage during his streak. Troy Terry scored his third goal in two games for the Ducks (17-9-5), who have won four of five.
"'Stoley's' been outstanding," Anaheim coach Dallas Eakins said. "We just can't say enough about him. He comes in every day, he works, high-character guy, smile on his face, and it's amazing how he goes about his business."
Philipp Grubauer allowed three goals on 18 shots for the Kraken (10-16-3), who won 3-1 at the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday, their lone victory in the past five games. Chris Driedger made five saves in the third period.
"We didn't manage the puck well enough to put ourselves into spots where we could forecheck well and generate more O-zone time," Seattle coach Dave Hakstol said. "That, ultimately, didn't allow us to generate a whole lot offensively."
Hakstol said Grubauer was not available for the third period. He confirmed it is not an upper-body injury, but no further information was provided.
Trevor Zegras gave the Ducks a 1-0 lead at 10:04 of the first period with a wrist shot just as Kraken forward Jared McCann collided with Grubauer.

SEA@ANA: Zegras shows off speed and scores

It was the first goal in 14 games for Zegras, who had 12 assists in that span.
"We made a bad pinch and that gives up the 2-on-1 for the first goal," Hakstol said. "That's a mental mistake that shouldn't be made, especially in a back to back. You have to be sharp in those areas."
Derek Grant scored shorthanded to make it 2-0 at 15:25 of the first period after a turnover by Kraken forward Marcus Johansson behind the Ducks net. It was Grant's second goal in 28 games this season.
"Whether we're playing the No. 1 team or the 32nd team, we spend time with video watching them and their tendencies, but a lot of times we're focusing on what we've done in the past games, and what's working and what's not," Grant said.
Terry gave the Ducks a 3-0 lead with a power-play goal at 1:52 of the second period. It was his 18th of the season and third in two games after a five-game drought.

SEA@ANA: Terry scores on power play to extend lead

Ryan Donato scored with four seconds left on a power play to cut it to 3-1 at 14:26 of the second.
Sam Carrick scored from a sharp angle at 8:19 of the third period for the 4-1 final.
"Our fourth line right now (Carrick, Nicolas Deslauriers, Buddy Robinson) has a real great identity," Eakins said. "The game's never over for them. It's 4-1 and they went out and let the other team know that we are still going to play hard until this buzzer goes."
