Ducks center Ryan Getzlaf had two goals in a 5-2 loss at the Dallas Stars on Thursday. He had two assists in a 5-2 win against the Sharks in the season opener.

Status report

Hertl is day-to-day after leaving late in the second period of a 4-3 shootout loss at the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday. He has 10 points (four goals, six assists) in 10 games. … Silfverberg was a full participant in practice Saturday but wouldn't commit to playing against the Sharks. He has missed the past five games since sustaining a broken fingertip on Oct. 14 against the St. Louis Blues. He remains tied for the team lead with seven points (three goals, four assists) despite playing five of Anaheim's 11 games.
