Malkin skated again in a non-contact jersey but the forward is not ready to return from June 4 knee surgery. … Pittsburgh changed each of their forward line combinations except the top one, with Heinen moving up two lines into Kapanen's spot, Aston-Reese dropping a line and O'Connor coming into the lineup in place of Lafferty. ... The Canucks sent defenseman Travis Hamonic to Abbotsford of the American Hockey League on Friday after calling him up for practice earlier in the day. Coach Travis Green said the plan was to get Hamonic, who was not with the team on its recent five-game road trip, into an AHL game Saturday.
