The Nashville Predators are in the State of Hockey in search of their sixth-straight win. The Preds and Minnesota Wild get together tonight at the Xcel Energy Center, a quick one-game road trip for Nashville.
Five victories in a row for the Predators have seen them score 23 goals over the span, receiving contributions throughout the lineup. Although they'll be without defenseman Yannick Weber for two to four weeks and winger Scott Hartnell for three to five weeks - both out with lower-body injuries - the Preds are confident in what they've been doing as of late, no matter who is putting the puck in the net.
"I think it's been coming, even when it wasn't there," Preds Head Coach Peter Laviolette said. "The chances are going to go at some point… The chances were there, if you continue to push through missed opportunities]. I think the contributions helps build the guys' confidence. When you score some goals, you can build something off of that."

Update:** The Predators
have recalled
goaltender Anders Lindback from the Milwaukee Admirals and assigned goaltender Juuse Saros to Milwaukee.

Last Time Out:
The Predators won their fifth straight with a 6-3 triumph over the Washington Capitals at Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday night. Six different goal scorers - Craig Smith, Nick Bonino, Filip Forsberg, Kevin Fiala, Miikka Salomaki and Mattias Ekholm - all tallied in the win with goaltender Pekka Rinne recording his ninth win of the season.
Bonino's goal came as he returned to the lineup after missing 11 games with a lower-body injury, while Forsberg's was his 100th career NHL tally. Forsberg continues to lead the club with nine goals and 17 points, followed by P.K. Subban with 12 and Viktor Arvidsson with 10.

The Opposition:
Just about as hot as the Predators are the Wild, riding a three-game win streak of their own. Even more impressive, Minnesota has not given up a goal in those three games, with goaltender Devan Dubnyk riding a career-high 195:05 shutout streak.
Jason Zucker leads the team with 10 goals and 15 points, followed by Eric Staal with 14 points and Jared Spurgeon with 11.
All-Time Meetings:
The Predators are 31-22-5-8 all-time against the Wild, including a 13-13-3-4 record at the Xcel Energy Center. Nashville has points in three of its last four and five of its last seven overall games against the Wild. The Preds also have wins in five of their last seven road games against Minnesota, including a four-game winning streak from April 13, 2014 to Nov. 5, 2015.
Notables vs. Minnesota:
Filip Forsberg scored his first career NHL goal on Oct. 8, 2013, vs. Minnesota's Josh Harding.
