Forward Seth Griffith will make his Florida Panthers debut. Griffith, who was claimed from the Toronto Maple Leafs on waivers on Saturday is with his third team this season. He had no points in three games with Toronto, which claimed him from the Boston Bruins on Oct. 11. "It looked like a good situation when I got there, but I think [Toronto] had their guys picked right from camp," Griffith said. "I'm just lucky Florida has given me this opportunity, and I just want to go out there and show them they made the right decision in picking me up." Rookie defenseman Mike Matheson will have about 30-40 family members and friends cheering him on in his first NHL game at Bell Centre. "It's pretty cool," said Matheson, a 22-year-old from the Montreal suburb of Pointe-Claire, Quebec. "The morning skate was the first time I skated here, but I've been in this building a bunch of times watching games. This is the building where I fell in love with the game, where the dream started to be able to play in the NHL one day."
