Campbell could start for the first time since Nov. 10 despite sustaining a broken nose when he was hit in the face by a puck in the second period of a 5-2 loss at the New Jersey Devils on Monday. Campbell practiced Tuesday and said he could play if needed. … Palmieri left the Islanders' optional morning skate because of an equipment issue. Coach Lane Lambert said Palmieri should play.
