Forward Tyler Bertuzzi, recalled from Grand Rapids of the American Hockey League on Monday, will make his NHL debut for the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday. "I'm really excited for tonight," he said. "Got a good skate this morning and got a feel of what it's going to be like tonight. I'm excited." Bertuzzi, the nephew of former NHL forward Todd Bertuzzi, will start the game at left wing on a line with center Frans Nielsen and right wing Dylan Larkin. Coach Jeff Blashill hopes Bertuzzi can use his grit and strength to be a net-front presence. "Not that those guys can't take their turns there, but [Bertuzzi is] just a more natural guy there," Blashill said. "There's lot of forecheck pressure between the three of them. I think there's a combination of speed, skill and size and tenacity." The Red Wings have lost five straight (0-4-1) and they feel ending that is more important than the 12-game regular-season losing streak they have in Philadelphia; the last time Detroit won here was Jan. 25, 1997. "That streak is nothing to do with this team," Blashill said. "This team is trying to focus on trying to get better every day and win a hockey game tonight. … It means nothing to us."
