Avalanche defenseman Tyson Barrie has 11 points (one goal, 10 assists) in the past nine games. He scored one of his three game-winning goals last season late in the third period of a 3-1 win against visiting Anaheim on Oct. 14, 2017.
Ducks forward Pontus Aberg has scored a team-high six goals, all in the past 10 games. Aberg was claimed off waivers from the Edmonton Oilers on Oct. 1.

Status report

Compher isn't with the Avalanche to start the three-game trip but could join the team in Los Angeles or Arizona. He was injured on Oct. 13 against the Calgary Flames. ... Eaves is eligible to come off injured reserve on Sunday. He played five games after his return Nov. 1 from a 12 1/2-month absence because of a virus and shoulder surgery.
