The Coyotes did not hold a morning skate Friday. … Oshie, a forward, is week to week. He limped to the bench after blocking a shot off his right foot in the third period of a 3-2 overtime loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Wednesday but did not miss a shift after that. … Dowd, who returned Wednesday after missing one game with a lower-body injury, fell during the morning skate and left the ice. If he is unable to play, coach Peter Laviolette said forward Brett Leason, who was recalled from Hershey of the American Hockey League, would make his NHL debut.
