The Coyotes, looking for their 10th win in 12 games, are one point ahead of the Minnesota Wild and two points behind the Dallas Stars for the first wild card. The Wild host the Stars on Tuesday.
The Ducks have won four of their past six games, including a 3-2 victory against the Nashville Predators at Honda Center on Tuesday. Anaheim ended Arizona's six-game winning streak with a 3-1 victory at Gila River Arena on March 5, the only loss by the Coyotes in their past eight home games.
Coyotes goalie Darcy Kuemper made 39 saves in a 3-1 road win against the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday. He has started Arizona's past 11 games, going 9-2-0.
