RALEIGH, N.C. - Brian Fork, CEO of Hurricanes Holdings, today announced that the team’s new broadcast offering has officially been named Hurricanes Hockey Network (HHN). In addition, the network today announced its on-air talent for the 2026-27 season.
Hurricanes game broadcasts will continue to feature Play-by-Play Announcer Mike Maniscalco and Television Analyst Tripp Tracy. Hanna Yates returns to the broadcast as well, in her new role with the team as broadcast and digital host. Shane Willis will continue to partner with Hanna as an analyst for pregame, intermission and postgame content on HHN.
Hurricanes Vice President of Communications Mike Sundheim will manage all aspects of production, distribution, sales and marketing for HHN, in coordination with the National Hockey League. Sundheim will also continue to oversee the team’s public and media relations efforts.

Mike Maniscalco is entering his 11th season with the Hurricanes and seventh as the team’s television play-by-play announcer. A native of Buffalo, N.Y., Maniscalco was recognized as the North Carolina Sportscaster of the Year for 2025 by the National Sports Media Association (NSMA). Before taking the reins as the team’s play-by-play announcer, Maniscalco served as the Hurricanes’ television and web host, where he hosted the broadcast’s pre-game show, handled walk-off interviews and produced video content for CarolinaHurricanes.com. Prior to joining the Hurricanes, he hosted the popular pre- and postgame shows surrounding the Hurricanes’ radio broadcasts on 99.9 The Fan from 2007-16. He continues to call games for the radio station when the Hurricanes are on national television, including throughout the team’s run to the 2026 Stanley Cup Championship.
Tripp Tracy is entering his 28th season as the Hurricanes’ television analyst, serving alongside Mike Maniscalco on all team broadcasts. In 2024, Tracy was recognized by the National Sports Media Association (NSMA) as North Carolina’s Co-Sportscaster of the Year. A former goaltender, Tracy was originally drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft. After completing four seasons at Harvard University, Tracy signed a free agent contract with the Hurricanes in August 1996. He spent two seasons in the organization, playing for Richmond (ECHL), Springfield (AHL), New Haven (AHL) and Carolina (NHL).
Hanna Yates is entering her fifth season broadcasting Hurricanes hockey, and her first working directly with the organization as broadcast and digital host. In her role, Yates serves as the on-air reporter and pre- and post-game host for the Hurricanes Hockey Network, as well as contributing to the team’s content and social media efforts. In addition to her coverage of the Hurricanes, Yates has gained experience in baseball, spending the 2024 season as the television reporter for the Atlanta Braves on FanDuel Sports Network. Yates worked for KSDK, the local NBC affiliate in St. Louis, as a sports anchor and reporter prior to her arrival in Raleigh.
Shane Willis is entering his 14th season with the Hurricanes as a television analyst, serving alongside Hanna Yates on the broadcast’s pre- and post-game shows. Willis also serves as the Hurricanes’ Director of Youth Hockey and Community Outreach, helping to grow the game of hockey in North Carolina by spearheading initiatives including the Carolina Junior Hurricanes, Hurricanes summer camps and the First Goal learn-to-play program. Willis played professional hockey for parts of 12 seasons, including five in the NHL. He spent six seasons in the Hurricanes’ organization and tallied 61 points (27g, 34a) in 141 NHL games with Carolina, earning selection to the NHL All-Rookie Team in 2000-01. Willis also played for Tampa Bay from 2002-04 and spent one season in the Nashville Predators’ organization in 2007-08, finishing his NHL career with 74 points (31g, 43a) in 174 games.
