All-Star: Raleighwood to Hollywood

LOS ANGELES - It was an early wake-up call on Friday morning for defenseman Justin Faulk and our CarolinaHurricanes.com team, who were catching a cross-country flight from RDU to LAX as the sun was rising in Raleigh.

Thanks to the magic of traversing west across time zones, the more than five-hour flight put us in Los Angeles before noon. From there, we made our way to our downtown LA hotels to take care of a few procedural items before hitting LA Live, the plaza area surrounding Staples Center, with Faulk for a little video fun.

Fans trickled by during the interview, and in a little man-on-the-street-style surprise, Faulk helped some young hockey fans gear up with some more Hurricanes-friendly clothing.
