Where does the other half of the cash jackpot go?
50 percent of the cash jackpot goes to the Carolina Hurricanes Foundation. For more information about the Foundation, please click here.
Do I need to be present to win?
No, winners do not have to be present to win. However, winning raffle tickets must be provided to claim cash prizes.
Are my winnings taxed?
The Carolina Hurricanes Foundation is responsible for reporting winnings to the IRS, and the winners are responsible for any tax implications.

How long does it take to get my prize?
Cash prizes will be provided to the winner via check within forty-five (45) business days of presenting the winning raffle ticket and filling out the winner release form, including providing two forms of identification.
Is there a limit on the number of raffle tickets I can purchase?
No, there is no limit to the amount of raffle tickets you can purchase during any raffle period.
Why does Canes5050.com require my location?
Your current location is required to confirm eligibility. The raffle is offered throughout the state of North Carolina.
I entered the incorrect email and did not print my raffle tickets. How can I get my tickets?

What does it do if I check the box to save my information for future purposes?
The information will only save if you are using the same browser as your previous purchase and that you have not cleared your cache or cookie settings.
What happens if I did not receive my email with the ticket numbers?
