Wyatt Johnston has been named one of six players on the 2022-23 NHL All-Rookie Team.

Johnston, who began his career by scoring in his NHL debut (Oct. 13 at NSH), shared first place among rookies with 24 total goals - a number reached by only one other Stars rookie since the franchise relocated to Dallas in 1993-94 (James Neal: 24 G in 2008-09).

Johnston, who played in all 82 games, also finished among the 2022-23 rookie leaders in shots on goal (2nd; 160), game-winning goals (t-3rd; 3), points (4th; 41), shooting percentage (4th, minimum: 80 S; 15.0%), plus/minus (t-9th; +6), power-play goals (t-9th; 3), power-play points (13th; 7) and assists (t-13th; 17).

The 20-year-old Johnston, the 23rd overall choice from the 2021 NHL Draft, is the third forward in Stars/North Stars history selected to the All-Rookie Team, joining Jason Robertson (2020-21) and Mike Modano (1989-90).
