The Jason Spezza Scholarship Fund grants monetary assistance for ice-time or program fees to children that cannot afford to play hockey due to adversity faced in their lives or financial restraints within their family.
Spezza, personally pledged a total of $50,000 for the 2015-16 to 2016-17 to kick start the scholarship fund. He has committed $25,000 more for the 2017-18 season. At the beginning on each new hockey season, Spezza hosts an on-ice clinic for them and enjoys the opportunity to further share his love for the game.

Tyler Seguin, started Seguin's Stars in 2013 in honor of his friend Derrek Moseychuk. Over time Seguin's Stars has evolved and Seguin has extended his reach to Boys and Girls Club of Dallas, as well as Big Brothers Big Sisters and After School All Stars. Tyler donates a suite to select home games and alternates between each group. After each game Tyler will meet with the children. It is a first hockey game for many of them.
During the 2016-17 season Seguin donated a multi-purpose ball hockey court to Boys and Girls Club of Collin County. The court is valued at over $70,000 and is a neighborhood favorite.

If you have a child or know a child age 0-18 with cancer or a life-threatening illness -- i.e., a progressive, degenerative, or malignant condition that may jeopardize the child's life, Dallas Stars defenseman John Klingberg would like you to apply to be a part of Klinger's Kids presented by Levitz Mattress!
Twice a month, Klingberg will sit down with a committee and select recipients for designated games. Recipients will be invited to watch morning skate and receive a tour of the locker room from Klingberg. They will then receive four tickets to attend the game that night and the child will receive a Tempur-Pedic Mattress delivered by Levitz. Please note this experience is just for the child and his or her parents.
Once you complete the registration process, you will receive confirmation that we have received your nomination. Please allow four (4) weeks for a response as the committee will only meet twice a month.
Due to the overwhelming amount of applications we are no longer accepting new applications for the 2018-19 season. Thank you for your understanding.
