The Jason Spezza Scholarship Fund grants monetary assistance for ice-time or program fees to children that cannot afford to play hockey due to adversity faced in their lives or financial restraints within their family.
Spezza, personally pledged a total of $50,000 for the 2015-16 to 2016-17 to kick start the scholarship fund. He has committed $25,000 more for the 2017-18 season. At the beginning on each new hockey season, Spezza hosts an on-ice clinic for them and enjoys the opportunity to further share his love for the game.

Tyler Seguin, started Seguin's Stars in 2013 in honor of his friend Derrek Moseychuk. Over time Seguin's Stars has evolved and Seguin has extended his reach to Boys and Girls Club of Dallas, as well as Big Brothers Big Sisters and After School All Stars. Tyler donates a suite to select home games and alternates between each group. After each game Tyler will meet with the children. It is a first hockey game for many of them.
During the 2016-17 season Seguin donated a multi-purpose ball hockey court to Boys and Girls Club of Collin County. The court is valued at over $70,000 and is a neighborhood favorite.

Dallas Stars captain Jamie Benn has been an ambassador for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society since 2013. Benn's Beauties began in honor of a close family friend who lives with the disease. Benn supports with everything from monetary donations to game tickets to event appearances to help raise awareness.

Defenseman, John Klingberg, has teamed up with Flashes of Hope and Ashley Home Furniture for the 2017-18 season. Flashes of Hope raises funds to accelerate a cure for children's cancer while honoring the unique life and memories of every child fighting cancer. For every individual point and team win during the 2017-18 season, Klingberg will donate $100. Ashley Home Furniture will match Klingberg's donation up to $10,000.

Dan Hamhuis and Ability Connection
Defenseman, Dan Hamhuis, has partnered with Ability Connection for the 2017-18 season. During the season Hamhuis will work in conjunction with the Dallas Stars Foundation to adopt a group home overseen by Ability Connection. Hamhuis will also match funds from the December 19th 50/50 raffle. That money will be used to build an on-site life preparedness studio apartment, to help Ability Connection clients learn how to live on their own.
