Stars release goaltender Joe O’brien from amateur tryout agreement

FRISCO, Texas -- Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has released goaltender Joe O’Brien from his amateur tryout agreement. O'Brien served as the backup goaltender to Scott Wedgewood for Dallas' game against the St. Louis Blues on Dec. 16.
