Do you think the nation caught a case of Smashville fever during the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs?
Look no further than the NBC Sports broadcasting schedule announced on Monday before making your diagnosis. The Nashville Predators are set to appear a franchise record seven times on national television during the 2017-18 season, including five games hosted at Bridgestone Arena.

"We're proud to offer our most diverse NHL schedule ever to fans across the country," said Sam Flood, Executive Producer, NBC Sports & President of Production, via NBC's press release. "From classic rivalries and historic franchises, to young stars such as Auston Matthews and Connor McDavid, a hockey-crazed market in Nashville, and a new franchise in Vegas, this schedule represents our commitment to present the NHL's diverse and emerging stars, teams, and stories."
Preds fans will have the opportunity to re-introduce the country to what makes Smashville so special for the first time on Tuesday, Nov. 14 as Nashville hosts the Washington Capitals. The Preds will host the Chicago Blackhawks twice on NBCSN, receive a visit from Connor McDavid - the League's leading scorer in 2016-17 - and the Edmonton Oilers and even appear on NBCSN during consecutive home games (Jan. 30 vs. Chicago and Feb. 1 vs. Los Angeles).
