For nearly two decades, Predators Owner and Chairman Tom Cigarran has taken his focus beyond Nashville and the team he's helped transform into a Stanley Cup contender to an island in the Caribbean Sea.
Cigarran has donated funds to provide medical care and educational tools to Haiti, including his support of the Be Happy Haiti organization.
"I have been working with education in Haiti for more than 15 years," Cigarran said. "Helping wonderful young people prepare to become the future leaders of their country is the single most gratifying thing I have ever done."

Next week, Cigarran will be the keynote speaker at the Haitian Community of Tennessee Presents First Annual Foundation Award Dinner and Auction.
Tickets are still available for the event on April 10 from 6 to 9 p.m. (CT), which will be hosted at Bridgestone Arena's Patron Platinum Club. Advanced single tickets are $100 with the proceeds benefiting several projects in Haiti.
