Nashville, TN - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Saturday that the club has assigned forward Miikka Salomaki to Milwaukee on a long-term injury loan.
Salomaki has appeared in two games for the Preds this season, and has been out since Oct. 16 due to injury. He has 11 points (6g-5a) in 64 career games with Nashville. The 23-year-old was drafted in the second round (52nd overall) of the 2011 Entry Draft.
The Preds return to the ice tonight against Chicago at 7:00 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on FOX Sports Tennessee and can be heard on the Predators' flagship radio station, 102.5 The Game.
