The Nashville Predators (12-12-3) will look to put Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Edmonton Oilers behind them as they head north to face the Winnipeg Jets Thursday at Canada Life Centre.

  • The Predators have allowed 2.69 goals-against per game since Nov. 12, the seventh-best mark in the League.
  • Roman Josi has 22 points (6g-16a) in his last 20 games after recording two assists on Tuesday vs. Edmonton. Josi is inching closer to passing David Legwand for the most points in franchise history. Josi (565) needs one more point to tie Legwand (566) and two to pass him. Since Oct. 27, Josi is tied for third among NHL defensemen in goals (6); fifth in points (22); and tied for seventh in assists (16).

  • Filip Forsberg (483) passed Martin Erat (481) and moved into sole possession of third place on the Predators' all-time points list on Nov. 8 at Seattle. After recording an assist on Tuesday vs. Edmonton, he leads Nashville in points with 24 (8g-16a) and has five multi-point outings in his last 19 games. Winnipeg (18-9-1) currently sits at second place in the Central Division. The Jets are coming off back-to-back losses in which they allowed five or more goals (5-2 vs. Washington and 6-5 vs. Vegas).
Josh Morrissey (5g-27a) leads the Jets with 32 points, the third-most among NHL defensemen. Mark Scheifele (18g-8a) has a team-high 18 goals, and Cole Perfetti is third among NHL rookies with 18 points. Goaltender Connor Hellebuyck is second in the League with a .926 save percentage.

All-Time Meetings

This is the first of four matchups between Nashville and Winnipeg in 2022-23 and the first of two at Canada Life Centre. The Predators are 27-18-(1)-4 all-time against the Jets, including an 11-9-(1)-4 record on the road. Nashville is 8-7-(0)-2 on the road since the franchise moved to Winnipeg.
