Tuesday: Washington Capitals, 7 p.m. ET
Facing off for the first time since Round 1 of the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Panthers will host the Capitals (7-8-2) at FLA Live Arena on Tuesday. Bitten by the injury bug, Washington has lost six of its last eight games, including a 6-3 loss at Tampa Bay on Sunday. During that eight-game stretch, they've scored two or fewer goals five times. An ageless wonder, Alex Ovechkin leads the Capitals in both goals (8) and points (14). After him, Evgeny Kuznetsov is second in points (13) and first in assists (11). Earning the bulk of the starts in net, Darcy Kuemper has posted a 5-7-1 record with a .911 save percentage. Winning their first playoff series since 1996, the Panthers eliminated the Capitals in six games in last year's playoffs. As the hero of that series, look for Carter Verhaeghe to pick up right where he left off. Nearly a point-per-game player, he leads Florida in goals (8) and sits third in points (14) this season.

Thursday: Dallas Stars, 7 p.m. ET
The Sunshine State and Lone Star State will clash when the Panthers host the Stars (9-5-1) at FLA Live Arena on Thursday. Second in the Central Division, Dallas closed out last week by snapping out of a two-game skid with a 5-1 win at Philadelphia on Sunday. Filling up the back of the net, the Stars rank second in the NHL on offense with an average of 3.73 goals per game. Not slouching on the other side of the puck, they also rank tied for fourth on defense with 2.53 goals allowed per game. Jason Robertson leads Dallas in goals (10) and points (23). Next up, Roope Hintz is second in points with 19 (six goals, 13 assists), while Joe Pavelski is third with 17 (eight goals, nine assists). Building off an outstanding performance in last year's playoffs, Jake Oettinger has been strong between the pipes, going 6-2-0 with a .938 save percentage. For the Panthers, look for Colin White to crack the scoresheet in this game. Notching at least one point in eight of 14 games, the first-year Cat has recorded three goals, six assists and a +7 rating.

Saturday: Calgary Flames, 4 p.m. ET
Familiar faces will roll back into town when the Panthers welcome the Flames (6-6-2) to FLA Live Arena on Saturday. Heading to Calgary in the massive trade that brought Matthew Tkachuk to the Panthers, Jonathan Huberdeau and MacKenzie Weegar are both expected to take the ice for the first time in South Florida as visitors. The franchise's all-time leader in games played, Huberdeau spent 671 games with the Panthers, while Weegar suited up in 306 on the blue line. Looking to hit the reset button on their season, the Flames snapped out of a seven-game losing streak with a 3-2 win over the Jets on Saturday. Nazem Kadri leads Calgary in goals (7) and is tied with Rasmus Andersson for the most points (12). Elias Lindholm, Tyler Toffoli and Mikael Backlund have all netted five goals. Between the pipes, Jacob Markstrom has started 11 of 14 games, posting a 5-3-2 record with a .895 save percentage. For the Panthers, look for Tkachuk to bring his A-game against his former squad. Off to a hot start, the star forward ranks first on the Panthers in both assists (12) and points (17), while also chipping in five goals.

Sunday: at Columbus Blue Jackets, 6 p.m. ET
Taking a quick trip out of town, the Panthers will wrap up their back-to-back with a matchup against the Blue Jackets (4-9-1) at Nationwide Arena on Sunday. Losing six of their last seven games, the Blue Jackets enter this week on the heels of a 4-3 overtime loss on Long Island on Saturday. Already without top defenseman Zach Werenski for the remainder of the season, they also recently lost sniper Patrik Laine to a sprained ankle that is expected to sideline him for 3-4 weeks. Offseason acquisition Johnny Gaudreau leads Columbus in scoring with 12 points (six goals, six assists). In second, Boone Jenner has recorded eight points (four goals, four assists). Starting each of the last three games entering this week, Joonas Korpisalo has posted a 1-1-1 record with a .912 save percentage. For the road team, look for Eetu Luostarinen to be involved up front for the Panthers throughout the entire 60 minutes. Of the eight points (four goals, four assists) he's registered this season, six have come on the road, including three goals.
