EDMONTON, AB - Stuart Skinner's record-setting last 31 days between the Oilers pipes has been capped off with the NHL's Rookie of the Month honour.
The Edmonton native set a franchise record with 10 wins in a month, posting a 10-1-1 record in March to lead all NHL netminders as the Oilers recorded a League-best 25 points at 12-2-1.
Skinner posted a 2.83 goals-against average and .908 save percentage in March, capped off with his second-career shutout in a 43-save performance against the L.A. Kings on Thursday.
The 24-year-old is tied for 10th in the NHL in wins this season with 25.
