January has been all business for the Bakersfield Condors (17-15-2-1) in the AHL as they begin a busy stretch of seven games in 11 days against Pacific Division opponents, including two weekend back-to-backs.
The Condors host the Stockton Heat tonight and Friday, and are currently fifth in the Pacific with 33 games remaining on their schedule. Tyler Benson leads the way offensively with 24 points (4G, 20A) in 35 contests, and hasn't missed a game this AHL campaign after having injuries derail seasons past for the 20-year-old Edmonton, Alberta product.

Condors_Stockton

The return of Joe Gambardella on Tuesday from a four-game stint in recent weeks with the Oilers is a boost for the Condors, who get their leading goalscorer (12) back before a busy stretch against divisional opponents. Goaltender Shane Starrett is now 7-3-1 with two shutouts and a .911 save percentage after blanking the Colorado Eagles in a 2-0 win on Saturday.
The Condors and the ECHL's Wichita Thunder (15-17-5-3) made moves of their own on Tuesday by swapping netminders Stuart Skinner and Dylan Wells between the clubs. Stuart, another Edmonton native, has done most of the legwork in Kansas between the pipes, making 30 appearances and holding a 10-12-3 record.
The Thunder sit fifth in the Mountain Division on the fringe of the playoff picture ahead of a big home-and-home matchup against rivals the Kansas City Mavericks this weekend.

Over in the QMJHL, another netminder in Olivier Rodrigue became the winningest goalie in Drummondville Voltigeurs history on Tuesday with his 71st win for the club in a 6-1 victory over the Victoriaville Tigres, solidifying the club's hold on first place in the Central Division even further at 33-9-1.
Evan Bouchard has four assists in four games for the OHL's London Knights since returning from World Junior duty with Canada, including a three-helper performance in a top-of-the-standings clash with the Ottawa 67's that yielded this slick feed below. The Oilers 2018 first-rounder has 22 points (5G, 17A) in 17 games in the OHL this season after recording a goal in seven games with the big club.

Kirill Maksimov looks an unstoppable force for the Niagara IceDogs this season with 57 points, including 28 goals, in 38 games.Ryan McLeod has a five-game point streak as a member of the Saginaw Spirit after being acquired from the Mississauga Steelheads, posting two goals and four assists.
