Ellis recalled from Bakersfield

The Edmonton Oilers have recalled goaltender Nick Ellis from the American Hockey League's Bakersfield Condors (AHL).

Ellis, 23, appeared in 34 games this season, posting a 16-12-1 record, a 2.69 goals against average, a .918 save percentage and one shutout in his first year with Bakersfield.
The 6'1", 180-pound netminder accumulated a 30-9-5 record, a 1.90 goals against average, a .931 save percentage and five shutouts in 48 career NCAA games with the Providence.
Ellis was signed by the Oilers as a free agent on April 7, 2016.
