EDMONTON, AB - The Oilers took to the ice at Rogers Place on Tuesday ahead of tomorrow night's game against the Dallas Stars.
Prior to getting practice underway, players and staff flashed the pearly whites for the annual tradition of team picture day. A short uniform change later and it was back to business for the Oilers, who worked heavily on puck retrievals in the defensive zone. One player who excelled at the drills was defenceman Darnell Nurse.
"Darnell had a fantastic practice today. I think he made a ton of plays. So much so, I pointed them out to the group on the ice," Head Coach Jay Woodcroft said. "I told him to save his stick because he made so many good plays."
