Oilers defenceman Andrej Sekera did not skate on Friday with the club after missing Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Kings. Sekera reported back from the holiday break under the weather.
Head Coach Todd McLellan provided an update on the blueliner.

"Obviously, still not skating, not feeling well," he said.
The Oilers training staff are ensuring the bug won't spread around the dressing room. McLellan did confirm that Sekera would not play Saturday's New Year's Eve home game against the Vancouver Canucks.
"Won't play tomorrow. As he gets better and gets skating again he'll be part of the road trip somewhere."
