The Oilers selected right-winger Kirill Maksimov from the OHL with the 146th-overall pick.
NHL Central Scouting's 66th-ranked North American skater split time between the Saginaw Spirit and Niagara IceDogs this season. He had 16 points (6-10-16) in 37 games for Saginaw, but saw his goal scoring increase with Niagara, potting 15 in 29 games. He had 22 points for the IceDogs.
