EDMONTON, AB - Oilers Head Coach Todd McLellan provided an injury update on Wednesday after losing a few players in Monday's 3-0 loss to the Minnesota Wild.
"Obviously we're short a defenceman," Oilers Head Coach Todd McLellan said. "We'll be calling one up on an emergency basis and he will play. Whoever that individual is, it's coming."
McLellan provided more details on the injuries.
"Sekera won't play this season," he said. "Same knee, minor injury but not worth him playing or trying to fight through it. Auvitu is doubtful."
