Boston leads best-of-7 series 3-1
BOSTON --The Boston Bruins will try to win a Stanley Cup Playoff series for the first time in four years when they host the Toronto Maple Leafs in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference First Round at TD Garden on Saturday.

The Bruins last won a playoff series in the first round against the Detroit Red Wings in 2014.
Forward Nazem Kadri will be in the lineup for the Maple Leafs after serving a three-game suspension.
Boston could get center Patrice Bergeron back after he missed Game 4 with an upper-body injury.
Here are 5 keys for Game 6:

1. Bergeron could return

Bergeron practiced Saturday and is expected to play.
"I'm optimistic," he said.
Boston will have a better chance to close out the series if Bergeron, who had five assists in the first three games, is in their lineup between wings Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak.

2. Kadri back from suspension

Kadri, who had 32 goals in the regular season, should give the Maple Leafs a lift in his return after missing three games for a hit on Bruins forward Tommy Wingels in Game 1.

"Obviously [Kadri is] a good player," Maple Leafs coach Mike Babcock said. "It's unfortunate for him that he missed three games, but the way I look at it on our team is you've got to be able to pick each other up. We weren't able to do that. He comes back, he'll make us deeper and we're excited to have him back."

3. Play to survive

Even though they have lost three of four games in the series, the Maple Leafs are confident they can extend it to Game 6.
"[Morale is] pretty high even though we're down 3-1," defenseman Jake Gardiner said. "We believe in each other. When you're on the edge of elimination, you give it even more than you already have, whatever you have left. We're going to lay it out all out there."

4. Build off victory

The Bruins won Game 4 despite allowing 77 shot attempts. Boston had 27 blocked shots, a sign it lost the puck-possession battle. The Bruins want to break out of their own end better and sustain an attack to keep the Maple Leafs on the defensive.

"I think they do a great job of moving pucks quick and getting them deep," Bruins defenseman Adam McQuaid said. "So obviously you try and have good breakouts and quick exits ... and with that just being strong on the puck in the offensive zone and making smart, strong plays. I think that those are some keys."

5. Get Matthews, Nylander going

Boston's defense pair of Zdeno Chara and Charlie McAvoy have limited Maple Leafs forwards Auston Matthews and William Nylander, who combined for 124 points (54 goals, 70 assists) in the regular season, to two points.
At the morning skate, Matthews and Nylander were on separate lines. Matthews was with Zach Hyman and Connor Brown, and Nylander was on the fourth line with Andreas Johnsson and Tomas Plekanec
"Their whole defensive structure is good," Matthews said. "They've done a pretty good job of keeping us off the net, making it easier for their goalie to make saves. We definitely need to be better as a line and talking with each other. Tonight, like I said, our backs are against the wall and we need to be good. We're going to be good."
