Following consecutive road games to begin the 2018-19 preseason, the Pittsburgh Penguins will return home to play their first games at PPG Paints Arena this Saturday and Sunday. Pittsburgh will host the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday, September 22, and the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday, September 23. Both games will begin at 3:00 PM.

Saturday's game against Columbus will be televised by AT&T SportsNet. Steve Mears, Bob Errey and Dan Potash will have the call. Fans can also listen on the Penguins' official radio flagship, 105.9 The X, with Josh Getzoff and Phil Bourque calling the game.
On Sunday, the Penguins will celebrate their eighth annual "Free Game for Kids" when they host the Red Wings. Once again, the Penguins have donated over 18,000 tickets for this game to various youth organizations throughout the region, including several amateur hockey programs.
