Status report

Erik Karlsson, Pavelski and Kane did not participate in the morning skate. Dell was in the goal usually used by the starter during the morning skate and was the first goaltender off the ice. … Darling will be the backup after a one-game conditioning assignment with Charlotte of the American Hockey League. He has not played an NHL game this season after sustaining a lower-body injury during the preseason.
