Already nominated for their own respective honors at the 2018 NHL Awards, Pekka Rinne and P.K. Subban could take home more accolades next month - while being covered in slime.
The Predators goaltender and defenseman have been nominated in the 2018 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Sports Awards, an annual event put on by the network to celebrate the top moments in sports over the past year.
Rinne is nominated for the appropriately named "Hands of Gold" award, while Subban is up for the "King of Swag" award. Fans may vote on the awards by

leading up to the show, which airs on Saturday, July 21 at 7 p.m. (CT) on Nickelodeon.
The pair will be in attendance at the NHL Awards on June 20 in Las Vegas, with Rinne vying for the
Vezina Trophy
as the League's top goaltender, while Subban goes for the
Norris Trophy
as the top defenseman, as well as the
King Clancy Award
for his work in the Nashville community.
