RELEASE: Seabrook Expected to Fully Recover in 5-6 Months

Defenseman completes trio of surgeries on season-ending injuries

Chicago Blackhawks team physician Dr. Michael Terry today released the following statement regarding defenseman Brent Seabrook:

"Brent Seabrook underwent successful surgery today on his right hip. In addition, he underwent successful surgery on his left hip last month. With those two successful surgeries-in addition to the right shoulder surgery in December-we anticipate Brent will be ready to return in five-to-six months."
