CENTENNIAL FEATURE: BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF CHICAGO

As part of our Centennial, we continued to deepen our partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago (BGCC) by announcing a historic $3 million, 10-year commitment to support sports-based youth development programming.

This investment aims to grow the game of hockey in neighborhoods across Chicago, broadening on- and off-ice programs through BGCC, which has been a pillar in the community for more than 120 years and serves upwards of 15,000 youths at eight locations throughout the city.

Off-Ice Programs

Throughout the year, we bring the GOAL program to local schools, community centers, after school programs, and parks to provide access to floor hockey including the equipment, resources, and training.

On-Ice Programs

In partnership with the Boys and Girls Club, we offer a 15-week program for young people ages 9-12 to learn to skate and play hockey at Fifth Third Community Ice Arena.

Partner Support

We work and engage individuals and groups to ensure that anyone who wants to play hockey feels welcome in our spaces and has the opportunity to play.
