The Flyers did not hold a morning skate. ... Willman was recalled from Lehigh Valley of the American Hockey League on Saturday. ... Thompson will be out indefinitely after the forward was injured with 5:17 remaining in the third period of a 6-3 loss against the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday. ... Hughes took part in the optional morning skate and the forward is "very close" to returning to the lineup, according to coach Lindy Ruff. Hughes was injured against the Seattle Kraken on Oct. 19 and the Devils said Oct. 29 he would be out at least five more weeks.
