Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Mark Streit was activated from long-term injured reserve Friday and could return to the lineup. Streit, who has five goals and 11 assists in 31 games, missed 12 games since injuring his left shoulder Dec. 11 against the Detroit Red Wings. "I'm happy to be back," Streit told CSNPhilly.com after practice Friday. "I missed close to a month. I just want to keep it simple out there." The Flyers are 3-6-3 in their past 12 games since a 10-game winning streak but defeated the Vancouver Canucks 5-4 in a shootout Thursday. Goaltender Michal Neuvirth, who earned the win in relief with 14 saves on 14 shots through overtime and made three saves in the shootout, could start. "He sure looked sharp [Thursday] night," coach Dave Hakstol said. "He looked really calm and settled right away, as soon as he went in at the start of the third period. Midseason form, I guess that's tough to evaluate off of 25 minutes, but he was very good."
