Status report
Giroux did not practice Friday but will play Saturday; it will be his first game in Philadelphia after playing his first 15 NHL seasons with the Flyers. Giroux was traded to the Florida Panthers on March 19 and signed a three-year contract with the Senators on July 13. ... Gambrell will not play after the forward missed practice Friday. ...
