Forward Anthony Mantha, who is tied for third on the Red Wings with 33 points (14 goals, 19 assists) will be a healthy scratch for the second straight game. "I'm obviously not happy about sitting out, but he's the coach," Mantha said after an optional skate Sunday. "I just have to come back when I get a chance and try to prove that I'm never going to sit again. Obviously, this is hard." Coach Jeff Blashill didn't say when Mantha would return to the lineup. "If habits are trending in the wrong way, eventually you have to take away ice time," he said. "It might be one game or it might be multiple games." Goalie Petr Mrazek will start two days after Jimmy Howard returned from a knee injury and made 24 saves in a 4-2 win against the Chicago Blackhawks. Mrazek hasn't started either of the past two games, but played 46:28 in relief of Jared Coreau in a 6-1 loss to the Boston Bruins on Wednesday.
