Greiss, who played for the Sharks from 2007-13 is 1-1-0 with a 2.52 goals-against average and .922 save percentage in two career games against San Jose, each at SAP Center.
Sharks forward Tomas Hertl moved from third-line center to second line left wing in a 3-2 win against the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday. He scored a goal and led San Jose in shots (five) and hits (five).
