Nashville clinched a berth in the Stanley Cup Playoffs and lead the Winnipeg Jets by five points atop the division. The Predators could clinch Monday if they defeat the Lightning and the Jets lose in regulation to the Ottawa Senators on Monday.
The Lightning, who trail the Boston Bruins by two points in the Atlantic Division, clinched a playoff berth and home ice in the first round of the playoffs.
Nashville is on the second half of a back-to-back after a 7-4 loss to the Buffalo Sabres at Bridgestone Arena on Saturday. The Predators are 16-3-2 in their past 21 games.
Tampa Bay ended a three-game losing streak with a 7-3 win against the New York Rangers on Friday. The Lightning are 4-5-0 in their past nine games.
